'A los que aman' es una pelicula que se desarrolla en siglo XVIII. Una noche, un anciano le cuenta a un joven la historia de una gran pasión: su propia historia. Es un relato de la época en que era médico y se había enamorado apasionadamente y en silencio de Matilde. Esa pasión empezó en la infancia, precisamente cuando la caza desapareció misteriosamente de la región y aparecieron dos personajes extraños: el preceptor de esgrima y su solitaria y ausente hija Valeria.
